Promotion assistance activity for research and developing environment in Kansai Establishment

Description

At the Center for Promotion of Computational Science and Engineering (CCSE), Kansai Research Establishment, Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI), the Super Simulation Center (SSC) utilizes one of the fastest computers in Japan and high performance graphic servers attached to high speed networks. We, Information Systems Operating Division, provide and maintaining the most advanced computational resources, including massive parallel supercomputer HP SC40 (1.5TFLOPS), Fujitsu PRIMEPOWER (1.1TFLOPS), Fujitsu VPP300, visualization saver SGI Onyx 3200 with fiber optical network services and mailing facilities are contributing for the advanced photon research and the ITBL research project.
