Description
Conversion electron spectra have been measured for sup(118, 120, 122)Te, following the β decay of on-line mass-separated iodine isotopes. Several new Isup(π) = O+ states have been identified at low excitation energy. These, together with their EO de-excitation strengths, provide evidence for the presence of intruder configurations, albeit mixed with the normal configurations. The experimental data are compared with IBM-2 mixing calculations. (author)
