Description
The main aim of this work was realization of international analyze of information about radioactive fallings to guarantee of data reliability which used for composition of maps and radioactive situation assessment. During the first month after Chernobyl accident soils radio contamination by cesium-137 was more than before accident for 17% of Europe territory, i.e. more 10 kBq/km2 (0,3 Ci/Km2). Comparative analyze of radio contaminated areas of Belarus, Ukraine and Russian Federation shows that soil contamination more 37 kBq/km2 (1 Ci/Km2) at the end of January 1993 is registered for 23% of Belarus territory, 4,5% - Ukraine, 0,5 - Russian Federation. Radio contamination of Belarus territory has irregular 'spotty' character. The most contaminated territories are south and south-west parts of Gomel region, central part of Brest, Grodno and Minks regions. In 1986 23,7% of Belarus territory were contaminated more 37 kBq/km2 (1 Ci/km2), but in 2016 this value will be about 16% and in 2046 -about 10%
