Comparison of HRCT findings and prognosis between SSc-associated and DM/PM-associated IP

Description
Five-year survival rate was 98% and 58% in patients with SSc-associated and DM/PM-associated IP, respectively. Eleven out of 14 patients with DM/PM, but none of SSc patients died of IP. This difference of prognosis was associated with the difference of HRCT findings. (author)
