Description
The effort made for the identification of the electric and electromagnetic seismic precursors, in the ultra low frequency range (ULF<10 Hz), using the specific devices for magnetotelluric, telluric and self-potential methods, has pointed out the importance of the polarizing and nonpolarizing electrode's noise. Simplifying the conditions of the field acquisition devices, to the laboratory work conditions for an electric micropile consisting of two polarizing electrodes, made of the same or different materials, in stationary weak solution of sodium chloride, after a long time, one observes correlations between the anomalous variations of the potential differences and the Earth's or the neighbourhood areas seismic activity. We discuss five electric signals corresponding to different versions of the electrodes, versus Earth's seismic events, M>5, or Vrancea seismic activity, M>4, between November 2000 and September 2002, also evidencing the influences of the equinox, solar and lunar eclipses. So, we prove that the transducer-system state is conditioned, also, by the state of exterior systems and, in accordance with the principle of causality, some anomalies of electric signals, recorded like differences of electric potential, could be considered electrode effects of the global tectonic activity.
