Dissipation mechanisms
Description
Nuclear Dissipation is a process occurring in a closed system, and very likely a consequence of chaotic nuclear motion. Understanding nuclear dissipation poses several problems - strong coupling, deviations from the Einstein relation, modifications of the adiabatic potential. These problems are illustrated and discussed. (orig.)
