On the problem of the dependence of the secondary ion yield on the primary-beam current in conditions of adsorption-desorption equilibrium on a solid surface
- 1. Khar'kovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Kharkov (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
An expression has been derived for the dependence of the current of secondary ions of simple stoichiometry MeO+ on the primary-beam current density at the secondary ion emission from the metal surface. A comparison between the experimental and theoretical results shows that both sorbed and chemically bound oxygen participate in the formation of secondary ions MeO+
