A simple mathematical formula to determine the tube shift of diagnostic X-ray machine used for the purpose of simulator
Description
A very simple mathematical formula based on the knowledge of trignometry is derived to evaluate X-ray tube shifts to use the diagnostic X-ray machine for the purpose of the simulator. The formula is so simple that even slide rule or log table is also not required for this purpose. The tables are given to find the X-ray tube shifts for different treatment distance for various treatment angles. (author)
