Results of activities of the State Office for Nuclear Safety in state supervision of nuclear safety of nuclear facilities and radiation protection in 2009. Pt. 2

Description

The report is structured as follows: (1) Radiation situation monitoring through the Czech Radiation Monitoring Network (RMN organization and performance; External irradiation: early warning network, TLD networks, mobile groups, aircraft groups; Environmental compartments: air, drinking and surface waters, wastewater treatment sludges, river sediments; Food chains; Internal contamination); and (2) Monitoring of nuclear installations (Discharges from nuclear installations; Nuclear power plant surroundings; Consequences of the Chernobyl accident). It is concluded that no radiation accident of concern occurred in the Czech Republic in 2009. (P.A.)
