The main physical and biological characteristics of radionuclides important from the environmental point of view are presented for 3H; 14C; 40K; 54Mn; 55Fe; 59Fe;60Co; 65Zn; 85Kr; 89Sr; 90Sr; 131J; 134Cs; 210Pb; 210Po; 222Rn; 226Ra; 232Th; 235U; 238U; 238Pu; 239Pu. The physical and biological characteristics of the radionuclides are evaluated with respect to the existing radiation protection regulations in the CSSR. (author)
