Structural phase transitions in Pb1-xSnxTe solid solutions

Description
Temperature dependences of dielectric permittivity of lattice and band parameters their anomalies being connected with three structural phase transitions are investigated in n-type Pb1-xSnxTe monocrystals within 1.6-70 K temperature interval by helicon interferometry method. It is ascertained that a notable electron spectrum reconstruction occurs in the phase transition vicinity and the phase transition temperature is displaced in the direction of higher temperature region with the increase of tin telluride mode part
