Description

This document presents the results obtained to this day by the partners of the MISTRAL programme as well as the evolutions of fires obtained during experiments carried out on a large scale within the framework of the IPSN programmes. Some of these results show that the fire can move without help within the facility and using ventilation means. The results explain some propagations observed during recent accidents. These results underline the need to carry out more realistic safety studies for industrial facilities, based on the use of calculation codes. (au) 13 refs
