Patent
Process and device for automatic sampling of a material during casting in a container
Description
Sampling of radioactive glass during casting of liquid glass into a container is obtained through a small cup mounted at the end of a swinging arm. The mechanism is controlled by a meltable pellet which melts when the glass level is high enough in the container. A prestressed spring and a counterweight allow the arm to shift to a sampling position and after to a off-position for sample recovery
