The American Nuclear Society, American nuclear policy and the American HTGR
Description
Having reviewed the present activities of the American Nuclear Society and given an up-to-date review of American nuclear power policy, the performance of the HTGR at Fort St Vrain is considered. The construction, primary circuit components and costs are discussed while the lessons learned from the plant design which can be incorporated into follow-on reactors and also the current situation, are examined.
