Use of hydrogen isotopes for studying the properties of neutrino

Description
A brief historical information on research pertinent to the study of neutrino and neutrino oscillations is presented. Application of hydrogen isotopes, deuterium and tritium specifically, in the research is analyzed. Examples of using heavy water as a material in a detector for measuring solar neutrino fluxes in the Sudbury mine and fluxes of electron antineutrinos produced by a group of Japanese and South Korean reactors are given. Application of tritium as a source of antineutrino during experimental studies planned and conducted in Germany, Russia and France for measuring the mass and magnetic moment of neutrino is considered

Представлена краткая историческая справка об исследованиях, связанных с изучением свойств нейтрино и нейтринных осцилляций. Рассмотрено применение изотопов водорода, в частности дейтерия и трития, в этих исследованиях. Приведены примеры использования тяжелой воды в качестве материала детектора для измерения потоков солнечного нейтрино в шахте Садбери и потоков электронных антинейтрино от группы японских и южно-корейских реакторов. Рассмотрено применение трития в качестве источника антинейтрино при экспериментальных исследованиях, планируемых и проводимых в Германии, России и Франции, по измерению массы и магнитного момента нейтриноFiles
