Selecting optimum source holders for 241Am sources used in XFR analysis by means of semiconductor detectors
Description
The experimental results obtained in selecting optimum source holder for both point and ring shaped radioactive 241Am exciting sources, When using semiconductor detectors for XRF analysis are discussed. A comparative evaluation of the effectivity of radioactive sources is presented. An analysis sensitivity down to 5x10-4 per cent for silver in 30 min measurements has been achieved
