Description

In this paper we present a demonstration Level 2 assessment carried out on a generic PWR design using containment event trees (CETs). A computer program called SOLOMON, recently developed by AEA Technology, was used to analyze the CETs. SOLOMON contains features intended to make it easier to construct, manipulate and maintain large event trees. The purpose of this demonstration is to show how these features of SOLOMON can be used.
