Charge state distributions in the symmetric collisions of 50 - 150 MeV Cu ions in Cu foils
Description
Charge state distributions of Cu ion after passage through Cu foil have been measured from nonequilibrium to equilibrium region. Incident energies of Cu ions are 50 - 150 MeV. In order to confirm that the charge non-equilibrium region exists up to several tens μg/cm2 thick Cu foils in the present collision system, the target thickness dependence of charge distribution is unavoidable. Evidence of ionic L-M shell structure has also been observed in this work. (author)
