Performance and development of the French continuous process of vitrification

Capacity increase for evaporation of solutions and glass fabrication is examined. Quality control of the final product is studied: chemical composition, temperature etc. Studies of containers for dimensions (before and after glass casting), stress produced by glass, lid welding, contamination and impact test are reported

On examine les moyens d'augmenter la capacite d'evaporation des solutions et la capacite d'elaboration du verre, puis le controle de la qualite: composition, temperature etc... Enfin on etudie le conteneur: dimensions avant et apres la coulee, contraintes dues au verre, soudure du couvercle, contamination et essais de chute
