Description

Superconducting Ba2YCu3Ox films were prepared on (100)MgO substrate by laser ablation with a laser irradiation on the growing film surface to reduce the deposition temperature. In order to clarify the mechanism of the laser irradiation effect, a transient response of temperature distribution of the films was also calculated with various pulse duration, wavelengths and fluences of the pulsed laser. Comparison between the observed and calculated results suggest that the effective temperature increase in the film surface determined experimentally is smaller than expected from the calculation possibly because of the very short duration of temperature rise.
