Safety aspects in the uranium hexafluoride storage

Chemical and radiological risks associated to uranium hexafluoride storage are exposed. Safety criteria applicable are outlined and generally adopted safety measures for container and storage yard design as well as operational routines in order to keep risks into acceptable level are explained. Finally the conceivable accidents, their consequences and corrective actions are discused. (auth.)
