Fermions in the background field of a six-dimensional Abelian monopole

Description
The dynamical property of a charged fermion is studied in six-dimensional Abelian monopole geometry. It is interesting that the Dirac wave functions show a singularity around r = 0, in contrast with five-dimensional theory. However, it is proved that there is no phenomenon analogous to the Rubakov-Callan effect to be expected for the d = 6 Abelian scheme, in contrast with the same problem in QED
