Preparation and properties of silicate glasses containing CdSexTe1-x nanoparticles

Description
One analyzed conditions of CdSexTe1-x (0≤x≤1) ultradispersion particles in silicate glass. It is shown that when CdTe, CdSe compounds and CdSexTe1-x solid solutions are added to glass blend in finely dispersed state semiconducting phase is formed within matrix during glass making and is identified upon melt cooling down to the room temperatures in the form of nanoparticles. Peculiarities of absorption spectra of glasses are dictated by composition and concentration of nanoparticles of semiconducting phase and their crystalline structure
Abstract (Russian)
Исследованы условия формирования ультрадисперсных частиц CdSexTe1-x (0≤x≤1) в силикатном стекле. Показано, что при введении в шихту стекла в мелкодисперсном состоянии соединений СdTe, CdSe и твердых растворов CdSexTe1-x полупроводниковая фаза формируется в объеме матрицы на стадии варки стекла и идентифицируется после охлаждения расплава до комнатных темпрератур в виде наночастиц. Особенности спектров поглощения стекол определяются составом и концентрацией наночастиц полупроводниковой фазы и их кристаллической структуройAdditional details
