The Z2 gauge model in (2+1) dimensions: a finite-lattice study

Description
Finite-lattice techniques are employed to study the Z2 gauge model on a lattice in (2+1) dimensions. The string tension critical index is estimated to be μ/ν=1.95+-0.1. Outside the axial string sector, it is found that the finite-lattice results agree with the analytic continuations of strong-coupling series. (orig.)
