Upper critical field of a percolating superconductor

  • 1. Department of Physics and Astronomy, Tel Aviv University, Ramat Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel

Description

The upper critical field H/sub c/2 of the random percolating superconductor InGe has been measured as a function of the metal volume fraction x. Near the percolation threshold x/sub c/, H/sub c/2 diverges with a critical exponent which is significantly smaller than that of the normal-state resistivity. An interpretation of this behavior is proposed in terms of the properties of the infinite cluster
