Synthesis and spectroscopie study of mixed fluoride glasses containing zirconium, uranium and barium
Description
New fluoride glasses containing high concentrations of U4+ have been obtained in the ZrF4-UF4-BaF2 system around the molar composition 55% ZrF4, 15% UF4, 30% BaF2. The absorption spectra of U4+ in the new host is reported. The molar absorptivity is evaluated in order to explain the transmission curve versus the thickness of the samples

De nouveaux verres fluores riches en U4+ ont ete isoles dans le ternaire ZrF4-UF4-BaF2 autour de la composition molaire 55% ZrF4, 15% UF4, 30% BaF2.
