Effect of solar wind large-scale disturbances on dynamics of outer radiation belt relativistic electrons
Creators
Description
Connection of electron intensity increases in the outer magnetosphere with large-scale solar wind disturbances is studied according to the data on measuring the energetic electron fluxes (Ee ∼ 1 MeV) at ''Prognoz-6, 7'', ''Raduga'' satellites. It is shown, that the effect of solar wind high-speed stream action on the geomagnetosphere consists in accelerating the electrons near magnetopause and in amplification of energetic particle transfer from the boundary deep into the magnetosphere
