Colours and spectrum of X Persei B

Description
The BVRI colours and spectrum of X Per B are consistent with its being a normal M1 III star, possibly physically connected with X Per A. No peculiarities are found which might suggest that it is the X-ray source 3U 0352 + 30. (author)
