Description
Since high level waste glass is the first geological disposal barrier of high level liquid waste, its characters are very important for the HLW safety disposal. In this paper, those are introduced to present the investigation status and trend of high level liquid waste glass form, such as the characters of high level liquid waste, the safety requirement of high level waste vitrification process, the requirement of disposal safety and the investigation of the long term behaviour of high level waste, etc. Those coming from experimental and calculation results around thirty years, and they should be useful for our country investigation in this field and improve the project of HLW geological disposal in China.
