Homogeous catalysis of the cathodic reduction of molecular oxigen in aqueous solution
Description
In fuel cell research, the understanding of the functioning of the oxigen electrode and the development of electrodes reaching almost reversible behaviour is of primary importance. Not less important is the understanding of redox processes involving oxigen in biological systems. Two model systems have been studied: (a) cobalt-amino-peroxo complexes. (b) copper-cystamine. A mechanism of oxigen transport and reduction has been suggested
