Comparative analysis of forces of liquid hydrodynamic effect on porous bodies and tube clusters

Description

The analysis is carried out of differential equations for the averaged motion of liquid through isotopic and unisotropic porous bodied and in an interrod space used as the unistropic porous body. The components of the stationary hydrodynamic force of the liquid acting upon the porous body skeleton and the rod grating (the components of the filtration and hydrodynamical interaction force) are determined. The theoretical analysis and the obtained formula enable to calculate the hydrodynamical forces acting upon the rod-type and tube-type beams for both simplest cases of longitudinal and transverse flow-around and a complex motion. In this case it is necessary to know the averaged velocities and pressure fields in the intertube space
