Acute and chronic effects of tritiated water in mice with special reference to its carcinogenicity: an interim report

Description
In preliminary and ongoing experiments a study is being made of the acute and chronic effects of tritiated water in mice. Fractionated injections of HTO resulted in a higher incidence and shorter latency of leukaemia than single injections, and either method incidence was related to dose. Solid tumours seemed unrelated to dose except that double cancers appear to be linked to higher doses. (author)
