The effects of intermediate production of meson resonances in π-d backward scattering

Description

The structure effects in energy and angular dependence of π-d backward cross-section induced by the intermediate production of meson resonances are investigated. It is shown that near the maximum of resonance contribution the angular dependence of π-d backward cross-section is very peculiar and changes singificantly for energy variation inside of the width of resonance contribution. The analysis of the resonance ω-meson contribution shows that it is probable to find a rather sharp peak in π-d backward cross-section for Ksub(lab.) near 1.15 GeV/c
