Oxygen balance considerations of the univariant reactions in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system at 0.21 x 105 Pa oxygen pressure

Description
TG measurements of the univariant reactions in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system at 0.21x105 Pa O2 pressure indicate that independently of temperature and coexisting solid phases the melt composition corresponds to a YO1.5-BaOCuO0.68 section. This behaviour is quite similar to the binary Cu-O system. Consequences for techniques of YBa2Cu3O7-δ synthesis involving melts are discussed. (orig.)

TG-Messungen der univarianten Reaktionen im Y-Ba-Cu-O-System bei 0,21x105 Pa O2-Druck zeigen, dass unabhaengig von der Temperatur und den koexistierenden festen Phasen die Schmelzzusammensetzung auf dem Schnitt YO1.5-BaO-CuO0.68 liegt. Dieses Verhalten aehnelt dem binaeren Cu-O-System. Die Konsequenzen im Hinblick auf die Technologien der YBa2Cu3O7-δ-Synthese in Gegenwart von Schmelzen werden diskutiert. (orig.)Additional details
