Dioxouranium(VI) complexes of neocupferron
Description
Dioxouranium(VI) complexes of neocupferron with the compositions M[UO2(C10H7N2O2)3].nH2O where M=Tl+,Ag+, N2H5+, NH3OH+, C5H6N+, α-CH3C5H5N+, C9H8N+, C6H5NH3+, (C5H5)4As+, cis- and trans-[Co(en)2Cl2]; M1[UO2(C10H7N2O2)3]2 where M1 = Zn2+ and C2H4(NH3)22+; M11[UO2(-C10OH7N2O2)2L] where M11 = NH4- or H+, L = C2O42-, 2CH3COO- and C9H6NO-; and [UO2(C10H7N2O2)2L1] C10H7N2O2)2L] and [UO2(C10H7N2O2)2L1] where L1 = pyridine or 2,2'-dipyridyl have been synthesised. The chelates have been characterised on the basis of elemental analyses, conductance, electronic and IR spectral and TG data. The force constant and the U-O bond length have been calculated from the value of νsub(as) of the UO22+ ion. (author)
