Description
MDCT and MRT are valuable methods for diagnosing small bowel diseases. This article provides an overview of the techniques, indication spectrum, and advantages and disadvantages. Characteristic morphological image findings and diagnosing tips and tricks are explained on the basis of a selection of relevant small bowel diseases including inflammation, tumours and gastrointestinal bleeding.
