Errors of ionospheric parameter diagnostics in vertical monitoring

The obtained ratios binding the root-mean-square errors, diagnosed by the method of vertical monitoring of ionosphere parameters with correlation functions of fluctuations of measured radio-physical values are obtained. The problem on the ionosphere external monitoring was considered as an example. It is shown that the error of determining actual altitudes essentially depends on geomagnetic latitude
