Description
We argue that four-quark (Q2 bar-Q2) intermediate-state resonances containing a sizable ss-bar admixture produce selective enhancements in particular NN-bar annihilation channels with phi mesons. The pattern of enhanced phi production induced by NN-bar coupling to Q2 bar-Q2 resonances is compared to that due to ss-bar admixtures in the N and N-bar
