Description

For several years, Electricite de France has carried out probabilistic assessment of accident sequences for nuclear power plants. In the framework of this program many methods were developed. As the interest in these studies was increasing and as adapted methods were developed, Electricite de France has undertaken a probabilistic safety assessment of a nuclear power plant

Abstract (French)

Depuis plusieurs annees, Electricite de France effectue des etudes ayant pour but d'evaluer de maniere probabiliste des scenarios d'accident de centrales nucleaires. De nombreuses methodes ont ete developpees a cette occasion. L'interet croissant de ces etudes et la mise au point de methodologies adaptees ont conduit Electricite de France a entreprendre une evaluation probabiliste complete de la surete d'une centrale nucleaire
