The French at the discovery of hydrogen - Barometer Edition 2021. The French and the hydrogen energy - Barometer Edition 2022

Description

These two publications (2021 and 2022) report surveys performed by using qualitative focus groups to precisely identify representations of hydrogen as an energy support, and a quantitative survey to measure the occurrence of some stated attitudes with respect with this issue. The first publication presents and comment results in terms of: energy as a mutating essential item which generates strong expectations, hydrogen as a new scope of possibilities to be explored (a still not well known energy, with a relatively positive image, and an optimistic opinion on research development). The second publication presents and comments results in terms of shaken image of the energy sector (high concern regarding the sector, economic difficulties which weaken the sector future and possibilities), hydrogen as a little bit better known energy which can convince French people (higher notoriety and confirmed expectations with respect to the previous survey), and role of energy in the 2022 presidential campaign
