On the control of surface shape of a cooled bimetallic plate by means of coolant parameters variations

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Vysokikh Temperatur

Description

The possibility to produce cooled plates, in which the working surface shape is maintained in case of varying thermal flow and its regulation is realized using bimetallic effect and studied theoretically and experimentally. It is shown that varying coolant consumption and temperature it is quite possible both to maintain the preset initial shape of bimetallic plate and to control the shape change. Errors measurement and regulation of consumption and temperature determine the accuracy of the surface shape maintenance
