This dry storage device for radioactive wastes is made by shafts sized so that coolant flows by convection in a layer does not touch the wall of himself or of adjacent shaft. The shafts have an inlet for coolant in the lower wall and a coolant outlet in the upper wall

Abstract (French)

La presente invention a pour objet un dispositif de stockage a sec de materiaux degageant de la chaleur. Ces derniers sont stockes dans des puits places a l'interieur d'un local presentant au moins une entree d'air froid et une sortie d'air chaud. Selon l'invention, la distance entre deux puits ou la distance entre un puits et la paroi du local est telle que la couche limite d'air chaud formee par convection naturelle autour d'un puits ne soit en contact ni avec la couche limite d'un autre puits, ni avec la paroi du local. Application au stockage de dechets radioactifs
