Radionuclide angiocardiography
Description
Radionuclide angiocardiography is the application of radioactive tracer techniques to the evaluation of patients with disease of the heart and blood vessels. It depicts the circulation within heart, lungs and great vessels. It is simple to perform, results in a very low dose, and does not produce hemodynamic disturbance or pharmacologic effect. The examination can be repeated with practically no risk
