Description

Investigation of silver electrodes with ZrO2+Y2O3 electrolyte under anode polarography in the atmospheres of air, oxygen and inert gas-oxygen mixture in the 600-900 deg C temperature range is conducted. Polarograms are measured as Well as the dependences of the resistance capacitance and eta/I value (eta=overvoltage, I=current) on the current, time, overvoltage psub(Osub(2)) of the gas medium and claing effort on the electrode. Measurements have been taken both by using the methods of plotting stationary polarography curves at a step-by-step increase of the cell voltage with simultaneous determination of the process parameters and by applying a specially designed potentiostat at a step-by-step increase of overvoltage and its automatic keeping constant during periods between changes-over. In the latter case the electrode potential was measured in 0.5 μs after cutting-off of the 4O-100 Hz current
