Influence of surface states on thermo photoemission of Mo(111) implanted by niobium ions
- 1. National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent (Uzbekistan)
Description
We present the experimental results of investigation of the temperature dependences of the molybdenum-niobium alloy quantum yield near the threshold of photoemission (hν = 4-5,2 eV) and the temperature dependence of the photocurrent of an atomic clean surface of Mo(111) and Nb(111) single crystals. The strongest temperature effect was observed in the Mo(111) connected with the surface levels. In the case of ion-doped alloy of molybdenum with niobium the appreciable temperature effects did not find. (author)
