In mid-June 1990, the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) of OECD published the 13th edition of its 'red book' on 'Uranium - resources, production and demand', which is being published since 1967 in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The material provides a broad overview of uranium prospection, production, demand, and research in 59 countries of the world, exclusive of the Centrally Planned Economic Area. It also includes individual country reports and the relevant statistics and tables. The closing date for this 13th edition was January 1, 1989. (orig./UA)
Abstract (German)
Die Kernenergie Agentur (NEA) der OECD veroeffentlichte Mitte Juni 1990 die 13. Ausgabe ihres seit 1965 in Abstaenden herausgegebenen 'Rotbuchs' ueber die Uranversorgung 'Uranium - Resources, Production and Demand', das seit 1967 in Zusammenarbeit mit der Internationalen Atomenergie-Organisation (IAEO) erstellt wird. Es gibt einen Ueberblick ueber die Uranforschungen, die Uranproduktion, die Uranprospektion und den Uranbedarf in 59 Laendern der Welt mit Ausnahme der Staatshandelslaender (World Outside the Centrally Planned Economies Area=WOCA) sowie Einzelberichte ueber diese Laender und ist Quelle fuer die Tabellen dieses statistischen Berichts.
