Description

Uranium concentrations were determined in Yemeni plant samples using CN-85 detector by registrations the fission-fragments products from the reaction 235U (n,f) after bombarding the 235U nuclei by thermal neutron of (241Am-Be) neutron source, with thermal neutron flux of (4.62 104 n/Cm2.sec) . It has been found that the Uranium concentration was grading from (1.07 ± 0.17 ppm to 7.1 ± 0.58 ppm.). (authors)
