Utility management: benchmarking excellence. Entergy finds key to what makes a top nuclear performer
Description
Benchmarking, initially begun as a way to define nuclear excellence for Entergy Operations, a US nuclear operating company, has resulted in significantly improved performance at three nuclear plants. In an increasingly competitive electricity market, benchmarking also provides the framework for business planning to make nuclear plants low cost suppliers of electricity. (Author)
