α-cluster structure of 32S nucleus

Description
The angular dα-correlation function is measured in the 28Si(6Li, d)32S(α28Si reaction for 6Li ions energy 22 and 38 MeV. The α-cluster states in the 32S nucleus are found with the properties 5-, 6+, 7-,8+ and 9- lying in the excitation energy range 12-25 MeV. These states make a rotational band, each of them being fragmented into several levels. Comparison of obtained data with the results coming from the investigation of the α-cluster structure of other light nuclei enables to reveal some general regularities in interactions of the α-particle with light nuclei
