Hot isostatic pressing for the forming and production of ceramics
Description
ASEA QUINTUS equipment which wire-wound press frames and pressure vessels has acquired new, interesting applications in the field of hot isostatic pressing (HIP). Ceramic materials possessing excellent properties have been produced for use in automotive gas turbine engines and the storage of high-level radioactive waste from nuclear reactors. (author)
